Xero prices in US dollars, has a 50% Malaysia offer until 31 December 2026, and says its prices rise from 1 November 2026.

Verdict: best for…

  • LHDN MyInvois Portal: very small businesses that issue only a few e-invoices. It is free and run by LHDN, but it does no bookkeeping.
  • Bukku: a free starting point for new and micro businesses. The Launch plan is free forever and Bukku recommends it for companies under 6 months old. All Bukku plans come with unlimited users.
  • SQL Account: SMEs that want a long-standing Malaysian package with support. Both plans list 1 year of phone support and monthly training; Pro (RM109/mo) adds inventory.
  • AutoCount: shops that also want POS and HR software from the same vendor. AutoCount sells accounting, POS and HRMS. The RM28/mo cloud price is a first-year, limited-time offer.
  • QNE AI Accounting: businesses that want a built-in AI assistant. The Essential plan lists Quinny AI with 800 credits a month.
  • Biztory: SMEs that prefer one yearly payment in ringgit. All listed plans are billed yearly, and a trial version is available.
  • Xero: businesses whose accountant already uses Xero, or that bill in several currencies. Prices are in USD. The 50% offer applies to subscriptions bought before 31 Dec 2026, and Xero says its prices go up from 1 Nov 2026.
  • Zoho Books: businesses already using other Zoho apps. Malaysian e-invoicing needs a separate paid extension from the Zoho Marketplace.
  • Dext: bookkeepers with lots of paper receipts. It reads receipts and bills; it does not replace accounting software.
