Important: please read

  • For healthcare professionals. These are reference and productivity tools for registered practitioners and clinic staff working within their scope of practice. They are not for patients to diagnose themselves.
  • Verify every AI answer. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, or may not fit Malaysian practice. Check it against the current MOH Clinical Practice Guidelines, the product information approved in Malaysia and your facility's protocols.
  • It does not replace clinical judgement. You remain responsible for every clinical decision.
  • Never paste identifiable patient data (name, IC number, RN, photos or full records) into general AI tools. Patient information is protected under the PDPA 2010 and by your duty of confidentiality under the Malaysian Medical Council's code of professional conduct. Use only tools your facility has approved, and get patient consent before recording a consultation.

Not on this page, and why

  • UpToDate and DynaMed are widely used references, but their AI features (UpToDate Expert AI, Dyna AI) are sold to individual subscribers only in the US (and Canada for UpToDate). Your hospital or university may already provide access.
  • BMJ Best Practice is a respected decision-support reference, but it has no generative AI feature.
  • OpenEvidence is free for verified US clinicians; we could not confirm access for clinicians registered in Malaysia. Doximity GPT and Pathway (now part of Doximity) are for US clinicians. Epocrates follows US drug information.
  • Patient-facing symptom checkers, and tools that promise a diagnosis or cure.
